Seifter, P. Šparl and B. Zgrablič, Reachability relations in digraphs, Europ. J. Combin. 29 (2008), 1566-1581] it was shown that properties of digraphs such as growth, property ▫$\mathbf{Z}$▫, and number of ends are reflected by the properties of certain reachability relations defined on the vertices of the corresponding digraphs. In this paper we study these relations in connection with certain properties of automorphism groups of transitive digraphs. In particular, one of the main results shows that if atransitive digraph admits a nilpotent subgroup of automorphisms with finitely many orbits, then its nilpotency class and the number of orbits are closely related to particular properties of reachability relations defined on the digraphs in question. The obtained results have interesting implications for Cayley digraphs of certain types of groups such as torsion-free groups of polynomial growth.

The aquaculture industry and opportunities for sustainable tourismArmand Faganel, Roberto Biloslavo, Aleksander Janeš, 2016, original scientific article Abstract: Tourism is an important industry in the growth of gdp in many countries, while aquaculture covers more than half of the demand for fish in the developed world. The demand and competition for farmed fish are increasing worldwide, as is the awareness of the importance of the further development of sustainable small busi- ness. In this view, innovation is crucial to promoting sustainable business models that can achieve a solid economic performance and at the same time take care of the natural environment. This article contributes to the literature on sustainable business models with a descriptive case study of the complementarity of a single fish farming company and tourism activities. The case study of a sustainable business model in aquaculture has been analysed with the use of a business model canvas that links various market-oriented elements of a business model with different stakeholders' needs.

Merjenje zrelosti procesne usmerjenostiRajko Novak, Aleksander Janeš, 2017, scientific monograph Abstract: Rezultati merjenja zrelosti procesne usmerjenosti v elektroenergetski dejavnosti kažejo, da ta kljub dolgoletnemu ukvarjanju s procesi, uvajanju procesnega pristopa, certificiranim sistemom vodenja in informatizaciji poslovanja ni visoka. Merjenje smo izvedli s pomočjo vprašalnika za razširjen koncept procesne usmerjenosti z devetimi elementi. Glede na statistično ovrednotene elemente procesne usmerjenosti se elektroenergetska dejavnost nahaja na drugi stopnji McCormackovega zrelostnega modela. Za to stopnjo (Definirano) je značilno, da so procesi opredeljeni in dokumentirani. Spremembe procesov potekajo na osnovi formalnih postopkov. Delovna mesta in organizacijske strukture že vključujejo procesni vidik, dejansko pa ostajajo funkcijske.

Preživetje in podjetnost : integrirana kmečka ekonomija na Slovenskem od srednjega veka do danes2018, scientific monograph Abstract: Preživetje in podjetnost je druga knjiga v nizu rezultatov projekta Integrirana kmečka ekonomija na Slovenskem v primerjalni perspektivi, v kateri se osredotočamo le na slovenski prostor v daljšem razponu od zadnjih stoletij srednjega veka vse do današnjih dni. Njena objava predstavlja rezultat večletnega obsežnega projektnega dela z znanstveno literaturo, izvirnimi arhivskimi viri in v mednarodnem okolju, v katerega je bilo vključenih veliko število slovenskih in tujih sodelavk ter sodelavcev in čigar rezultati so vidni v obliki prispevkov v tej, slovenski knjigi, kakor tudi v predhodni angleški publikaciji (Integrated Peasant Economy in a Comparative Perspective. Alps, Scandinavia and Beyond, Koper, Založba Univerze na Primorskem, 2017).
