Abstract: The purpose of this paper was to investigate service quality in restaurants operating in the rural area of Slovenian Istria. The dinerserv tool was used as a research instrument. The research sample consisted of 25 restaurant facilites and 250 valid questionnaires completed by domestic guests.

Efficiency analysis of restaurants operating in the rural ares : the case of Slovenia

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyse the efficiency performance of restaurants operating in the rural areas of Slovenia. The sample consisted of 52 independently run rural restaurant facilities. Data were obtained from restaurant managers and restaurant firms' financial reports. Based on a convenience sampling method, only those restaurants whose only source of operating revenues was providing food in a restaurant setting were included in the sample.

Trajnostno upravljanje s turistično destinacijo Mediteranska Slovenija

Abstract: Turizem je najhitreje rastoča gospodarska panoga in predstavlja gonilo gospodarskega razvoja. Z razvojem pa turizem prinaša pritiske na naravno, kulturno in družbeno okolje. Posledično se je družbeno razumevanje turizma v zadnjih desetletjih spremenilo. Na pomenu je pridobila paradigma trajnostnega razvoja, ki predstavlja osnovo bodočega turističnega razvoja -- tako na globalni kot regionalni ravni. Tudi Slovenija se je zavezala k razvoju trajnostnega turizma. Vzpostavila je institucionalni okvir, ki podpira prizadevanje pristojnih državnih organov in turističnih ponudnikov za trajnostni razvoj turističnih destinacij in produktov.

Management kakovosti v prehrambenem turizmu : zagotavljanje kakovosti ponudbe in lojalnosti gostov

Abstract: Raziskava preučuje možnost zagotavljanja kakovosti ponudbe in lojalnosti gostov v prehrambnem gostinstvu na osnovi trženjske usmerjenosti PGO. Predstavlja teoretično in zakonsko opredelitev (ureditev) gostinstva ter nekatera pomembna raziskovalna izhodišča, ki izhajajo iz zakonske ureditve gostinstva v RS. Raziskava podrobno opredeljuje pojem kakovost, gostinski proizvod in koncept zadovoljstva, in to s stališča gosta in menedžerja.
