17. New records of the rare dragonfly, Black Pennant - Selysiothemis nigra (Vander Linden, 1825) (Insecta: Odonata) in Bosnia and HerzegovinaToni Koren, Domen Trkov, Kaja Vukotić, Mitja Črne, 2012, short scientific article Abstract: In 2012, we recorded a Black Pennant, Selysiothemis nigra, at two sites in Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e. in the surroundings of Klepci village and in Hutovo Blato Nature Park, Neretva River. These are the first recent records of this species in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which had previously been known only from the entomological collection in the Museum of Sarajevo. As this species had previously been recorded on the Croatian side of the Neretva River, these records fit into the distribution area of the species. With the confirmation of this record, the dragonfly fauna of Bosnia and Herzegovina consists of 60 species Keywords: dragonflies, Selysiothemis nigra, distribution, Neretva, Bosnia and Herzegovina Published in RUP: 21.12.2015; Views: 2614; Downloads: 15 Link to full text |

20. New data about the distribution and altitudinal span of the Dalmatian Ringlet, Proterebia afra dalmata (Godart, [1824]) (Lepidoptera: Satyrinae) in CroatiaToni Koren, Ivona Burić, Ana Štih, Valerija Zakšek, Rudi Verovnik, 2010, original scientific article Abstract: During the survey of butterfly fauna of Dalmatian mountains in the last years, Proterebia afra dalmata (Godart, 1824) was found on several new sites, including the first records of this subspecies at higher altitudes (Poštak, Svilaja, Promina, Kamešnica and Dinara Mts.). In this paper we present a much more complete picture of the distribution of this presumably rare butterfly and discuss its altitudinal distribution. The species was found at altitude of almost 1500 m, therefore the characterization of the subspecies as a lowland butterfly can be dismissed.
