Abstract: The features of delinquence in 18th century Lombardy is reconstructed across the executed persons' Registers as regards the crimes punished by death. Not only the crimes that happened often as "robberies and homicides" but also those that happened more rarely parade in succession, in a detailed description that lays an often violent society bare, not very sensitive to the ferocity of the repressive apparatus of ancien régime still in force
