12. A three-person deterministic graphical game without Nash equilibriaEndre Boros, Vladimir Gurvich, Martin Milanič, Vladimir Oudalov, Jernej Vičič, 2018, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: We give an example of a three-person deterministic graphical game that has no Nash equilibrium in pure stationary strategies. The game has seven positions, four outcomes (a unique cycle and three terminal positions), and its normal form is of size only. Thus, the example strengthens significantly the one obtained in 2014 by Gurvich and Oudalov; the latter has four players, five terminals, and normal form of size . Furthermore, our example is minimal with respect to the number of players. Somewhat similar examples were known since 1975, but they were not related to deterministic graphical games. The small size of our example allows us to verify that it has no Nash equilibrium not only in pure but also in independently mixed (so-called behavioral) strategies. For independently mixed strategies two distinct effective payoffs can be considered: along with the classical Markovian evaluation, we also consider a priori evaluation, which may be a better fit for playing in behavioral strategies Ključne besede: deterministic graphical multi-person game, perfect information, Nash equilibrium, directed cycle, terminal position, pure stationary strategy Objavljeno v RUP: 30.03.2018; Ogledov: 3430; Prenosov: 173 Povezava na celotno besedilo |

16. Factors affecting effectiveness of knowledge management : a case of Bosnia and Herzegovina enterprisesMirela Kljajić-Dervić, Roberto Biloslavo, 2015, objavljeni znanstveni prispevek na konferenci Opis: A successful business is a business based on knowledge. In modern economy, successful companies appreciate knowledge and systematically support its creation, sharing and application within business processes. Very often knowledge is the most critical economic resource; it is therefore necessary to effectively direct and lead processes of creation or acquisition, transfer, use and exploitation of knowledge. These processes together form the concept of knowledge management. Through effective knowledge management, organizations can improve their performance and gain a competitive advantage. But first they need to identify critical success factors to develop knowledge managements in organizations. This paper shows and discusses results of the empirical study conducted in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Based on existing research and proposed models, the study outlines six factors (i.e. organizational culture, human capital, management, organizational structure, reward system, information technology), which we believe have a direct impact on the effectiveness of knowledge management. Research data have been collected through a survey. The research sample was composed of 317 companies that employed 10 to 600 employees. Collected data were analyzed by use of the structural equation modelling. This will allow us to propose a model of influential factors for effective knowledge management. Results of the study will help organizations to better understand critical factors influencing the effectiveness of knowledge management. 19. The information society, a challenge for business students?Viktorija Florjančič, 2015, objavljeni znanstveni prispevek na konferenci Opis: We welcome digital natives to our university assuming they are competent computer and internet users. However, testing their computer skills at the beginning of the course revealed that they are not as highly skilled as was initially expected. The majority of students had surprisingly never heard of the massive open online courses that have been challenging higher education in recent years. Moreover, a lot of students do not use freely accessible learning resources on the web. Collecting data from Eurostat statistics raises an interesting issue - more and more EU households are getting broadband internet access and internet penetration is not only following users that have accessed the internet once in the last 3 months, but users that access the internet daily. It would be expected that individuals, especially those aged under 30, are highly computer and internet literate, but the data analysis revealed otherwise. Not only students included in the research presented in the empirical part of this paper, but also an average young internet user of one of the 28 EU countries. Using Facebook and the first Google search result is not enough anymore.
