Abstract:Članek obravnava jezikovno občutljivo poučevanje (JOP). Analiza učnih načrtov slovenskih fakultet kaže, da JOP še ni sistematično vključeno, čeprav so njegovi elementi prisotni predvsem v programih pedagoških fakultet.

Title:The integration of linguistically sensitive teaching into Slovenia’s national language policy and teacher education curricula
Abstract:This article examines linguistically sensitive teaching (LST). This approach emphasises the integration of students’ entire linguistic repertoires into the learning process. We present the findings of a study on the presence of LST in Slovenian language policy strategy documents and teacher education programmes. The analysis shows that national documents support inclusion, multiculturalism, and linguistic diversity. They emphasise the importance of Slovenian, the languages of national communities, and Romani, while also recognising plurilingualism and promoting inclusive approaches to teaching. The analysis of syllabi from Slovenian faculties shows that LST is not systematically recognised, although its individual concepts are present, particularly in programmes of faculties of education. The findings confirm an awareness of the importance of linguistic diversity in education, as well as the need for further development and the systematic integration of LST into educational policy and practice.
