Title:Menedžment za zdrav življenjski slog zaposlenih

Abstract:Izhodišča: Cilj raziskave je bil ugotoviti povezanost med promocijo zdravja inpodpornostjo delovnega okolja zdravemu življenjskemu slogu v treh skupinah delovnih organizacij. Metode: 30 anketiranih menedžerjev je bilo v letu 2007 razporejenih v eksperimentalno in kontrolno skupino glede na aktivnost v programu promocije zdravja na delovnem mestu. Drugo kontrolno skupino so sestavljale organizacije Slovenske fundacije za poslovno odličnost. Podatki sobili statistično analizirani s testom ANOVA in t-testom, hi-kvadrat in korelacijo po Pearsonu. Statistična značilnost je bila določena pri 5% ali nižjem tveganju. Rezultati: Rezultati raziskave kažejo največjo skrb delovne organizacije za zdravje zaposlenih v skupini organizacij Slovenske fundacije za poslovno odličnost, kjer je zadovoljevanje potreb zaposlenih odlično in statistično boljše v primerjavi z eksperimentalno in kontrolno skupino. Statistično značilne razlike so bile ugotovljene v ponudbi zdravih živil, kolesarnic in prostora za rolerje ter programov promocije zdravja na delovnem mestu. Skupina organizacij Slovenske fundacije za poslovno odličnost je realizirala največji delež ukrepov ter načrtuje največ aktivnosti v skrbi za zdravje zaposlenih, istočasno pa izraža najmanj zanimanja za profesionalno vodene programe promocije zdravja. Na področju odgovornosti za zdravje največjo odgovornost za lastno zdravje po prepričanju menedžerjev vseh treh skupin nosi zaposleni sam. V razpoložljivosti virov za zdravje zaposlenih se je v primerjavi s kontrolno skupino bolje izkazala eksperimentalna skupina, najbolje izmed treh pa skupina organizacij Slovenske fundacije za poslovno odličnost. Zaključek: Aktivnosti delovne organizacije v podpori zdravja zaposlenih verjetno niso posledica programa promocije zdravja, kakor je bilo predpostavljeno, temveč rezultat organizacijske kulture in odnosa menedžerjev do zdravja zaposlenih.

Title:Health promoting managers and the workplace resources
Abstract:Introduction: The aim of the study was to identify the correlation between health promotion and the workplace resources in enhancing healthy lifestyle inthe three groups of work organizations. Methods: The study conducted in 2007included 30 managers divided into the experimenCal and control group according to their activities within the health promotion programme at a workplace. A parallel control broup was composed of the organizations of the Slovenian Foundation fior Business Excellence. A questionnaire was used to collect data on the variables of working conditions, workplace health promotion, health responsibility and motivation for improved employee health. Pearson's chisquare and factorial ANOVA were used in the analysis of the data collected. Statistical significance was set at p <_ 0,05. Results: According to the results of the comparative study, the Slovenian Foundation for BusinessExcellence group addresses and answers the health needs of their employees extremely well and also statistical ly better than the experimental and the control groups. Statistically significant differences were identified in availability of healthy food in automatic machines, safe bicycles and rollers storage and worksite health promotion programmes. The Slovenian Foundation for Business Excellence implemented the greatest number of health promotion measures along with the activities enhancinb their employees' healthy lifestyle. However, it remains Icast interested in professionally run health promotion programmes. The respondents from all three groups believe that health is a personal responsibility. Workplace employees' health resources are best provided by Slovenian Foundation for Business Excellence group, followed by the experimental and control group.
