As 2025 came to an end, we said goodbye to our longstanding Editors-in-Chief, Horacio Naveira, PhD and Professor Juan L. Bouzat, after many years of dedicated service to the journal. Springer Nature would like to express its sincere gratitude for their outstanding service and commitment to the journal. During their time as co-EiCs, they played a central role in maintaining Genetica’s scientific rigor, broad disciplinary scope, and international visibility. Their leadership was marked by a strong commitment to high-quality peer review, thematic diversity, and the continued relevance of the journal at the interface of genetics and evolution. Beyond their editorial responsibilities, both Horacio and Juan have also contributed as authors, reinforcing their close scientific ties to the journal (Hibbets et al. 2020, Naveira et al. 2023). Now, Genetica enters a new era. We are pleased to introduce its new editorial leadership, consisting of Prof. Elena Buzan and Prof. Andreia Carina Turchetto Zolet.</dc:description><dc:date>2026</dc:date><dc:date>2026-07-14 09:42:46</dc:date><dc:type>Članek v reviji</dc:type><dc:identifier>23310</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language></rdf:Description></rdf:RDF>
