The Influence of content marketing on purchase decisions
Jasenka Haleus, Armand Faganel, 2026, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: Research Question (RQ):This study addresses how content marketing can be clearly defined and applied, particularly for organizations that are in the early stages of adoption or have not yet implemented it, with emphasis on its key elements, interaction with consumers, and its influence on consumer purchase decision-making.Purpose:The purpose of this research was to examine the influence of content marketing on consumer purchase decisions. The aim of the research was to highlight the importance of content marketing in terms of strategic marketing planning and its impact on achievingeffective and competitive marketing organizations.Method:The research is based on a primary empirical quantitative approach. It was conducted on a sample of 128 students and younger employed persons from the city of Zagreb. Various scientific research methods were used, including analysis and synthesis, abstraction and concretization, generalization and specialization, inductive and deductive methods, classification, description, and statistical methods. For hypothesis testing, univariate and bivariate analyses were applied, particularly correlation and regression analysis. Results:The research results showed a statistically significant and positive influence of content marketing on consumer purchase decisions (p < 0.001). Regression analysis confirmed the predictive ability of content marketing in shaping purchase decisions, which also confirmed the research hypothesis.Organization:The findings of the research have important practical implications for managers and marketing experts, as they show that content marketing is an effective strategy for increasing company performance, creating greater value for consumers, and achieving competitive advantage in the market.Society:The research highlights the role of digital communities and viral communication in shaping new social dynamics that extend beyond individual consumer behavior to broader societal interactions.Originality:The originality of the research lies in the development of a simple research model for examining the influence of content marketing on purchase decisions. The study contributes to the understanding of this relatively new field and opens possibilities for the further development of this research domain.Limitations / Further Research:The study is limited by a relatively small sample size and cross-sectional design, which restricts generalization and longitudinal analysis. Future research should include larger samples and longitudinal approaches.

Web Implementation of 3-way Chess
Janez Koprivec, Matija Marolt, Ciril Bohak, 2025, samostojni znanstveni sestavek ali poglavje v monografski publikaciji

Opis: This paper presents the design and implementation of a web-based platform for three-player chess, a non-standard variant developed by Dario Varga that until now has only existed in physical form. The work addresses several human–computer interaction challenges: intuitive visualization of a hexagonal chessboard, synchronization of three players in real time, and support for learning unfamiliar rules. The platform was developed using Node.js, React, Mantine, Socket.IO, and MongoDB, providing user account management, both single-device and online multiplayer modes, and access to game history. A key contribution lies in creating a user-friendly and responsive interface that lowers the entry barrier for new players while ensuring robust performance in real-time gameplay. Evaluation confirmed that the application meets functional requirements and offers minimal latency for online play, with results highlighting the impact of server proximity on player experience. The project demonstrates how thoughtful interaction design and modern web technologies can support the digital transformation of analog games, broadening accessibility and engagement with alternative chess variants. The system is available at: https://chess3.musiclab.si/.

Exploring student perspectives on e-learning in nursing education
Mirko Prosen, Sabina Ličen, 2025, samostojni znanstveni sestavek ali poglavje v monografski publikaciji

Opis: E-learning has rapidly gained prominence in nursing education, offering flexible alternatives to traditional learning. This study aimed to explore nursing students’ experiences with e-learning, focusing on perceived benefits, challenges, and its impact on skill acquisition. Using a qualitative design, data were collected from four face-to-face focus groups comprising 20 nursing students. Thematic analysis was employed to examine the data, yielding six key themes: Flexibility and accessibility benefits, Impact on student engagement and interaction, Technological and infrastructure challenges, Effect on practical skills and learning outcomes, Diverse preferences in learning approaches, and Self-management and motivation in e-learning. The findings indicate that, while e-learning provides accessibility and flexibility, it poses challenges in practical skill development and engagement. This study emphasises the need for adaptive e-learning models to meet diverse learning requirements effectively.

Digital standard for the design of inclusive and effective online courses in higher education : an integrative literature review
Sabina Ličen, Mirko Prosen, 2025, samostojni znanstveni sestavek ali poglavje v monografski publikaciji

Opis: This integrative literature review examines models and frameworks for digital education in higher education, synthesizing their key strengths and limitations. By analysing nine existing frameworks covering different aspects of digital education, including pedagogical approaches, technological solutions and assessment mechanisms, the study identifies gaps in the current literature. The findings show that while the individual models provide valuable insights, none of them independently offer a complete approach to the design, implementation and assessment of digital education. Therefore, this study proposes the development of an integrated digital standard that combines theoretical and practical perspectives to promote inclusive and effective online learning. Such a standard could increase the adaptability to students' needs, improve assessment mechanisms and increase the flexibility of digital learning environments. This study contributes to the development of sustainable and adaptable solutions for the future of digital education.
