2. Josip Ipavec in njegov svet2023, scientific monograph Abstract: Leto 2021 je bilo v Sloveniji posvečeno Josipu Jurčiču in njegovemu skladateljskemu soimenjaku iz Ipavčevega rodu. Oktobra 2021 je potekal simpozij o Josipu Ipavcu v Šentjurju, na katerem so osrednjo vlogo že imeli raziskovalci nove generacije. Osvetljene so bile teme, katerih pomen je z dognanji njihovih predhodnikov narasel. Uporabljene so bile nove metode, ki so omogočile osvetlitve življenja in dela poslednjega iz vrste sorodstveno povezanih skladateljev Ipavcev z doslej neznanih zornih kotov. Rezultat vseh teh prizadevanj

7. Methodology of an aircraft accident response system assessmentFranc Željko Županič, Maja Meško, Iztok Podbregar, 2012, original scientific article Abstract: The paper investigates the ability to learn from an aircraft accident as the opportunities for learning diminish with the decline in the accident rate. A safety compromising case is studied as the processes of aircraft accident intervention and recovery can degrade the ability of an aircraft accident investigation process to enhance aviation safety by revealing accident causation. In the case study an assessment of the Slovenian aircraft accident response system was made. For the purpose of evaluating the successfulness of aircraft accident intervention and effectiveness of recovery, a model of aircraft accident response system requirements has been developed. Based on non-conformances identified by the model of requirements, remedial measures are proposed for the enhancement of the aircraft accident response system operation. Criteria for the definition of the transition from accident intervention to recovery are derived from the assessment findings in a manner not to impede the aircraft accident investigation effectiveness and efficiency. Preparation of two-component polyurethane coatings from bleached liquefied woodArnaud Maxime Cheumani-Yona, Franc Budija, David Hrastnik, Matjaž Pavlič, Pavel Pori, Črtomir Tavzes, Marko Petrič, 2015, original scientific article Abstract: Liquefied wood-based polyurethane wood coatings of an aesthetically acceptable light colour were prepared and characterised. Liquefied black poplar wood was obtained by solvolysis in a polyethylene glycol/glycerol mixture, and it was bleached with hydrogen peroxide. The bleaching treatment converted liquefied wood from a dark brown to a yellowish product. Polyurethane films were prepared by the curing of liquefied wood with polymeric diphenylmethane diisocyanate or trimethylolpropane toluene diisocyanate prepolymer (TMP/TDI) isocyanate-type hardeners. It was found that the selected properties of the films prepared from the bleached liquefied wood were, in general, equivalent to those prepared from unbleached liquefied wood. The mechanical properties of the films obtained with the TMP/TDI curing agent were acceptable for wood coating applications. The initial poor resistance of the films to water and ethanol was substantially improved by the addition of n-octyltriethoxysilane to the liquefied wood prior to the preparation of the polyurethane coatings; the hardness of the films also increased.
