Title:Uporaba generativne umetne inteligence pri oblikovanju matematičnih besedilnih nalog

Abstract:Prispevek raziskuje vlogo generativne umetne inteligence (ChatGPT) pri ustvarjanju matematičnih besedilnih nalog na razredni stopnji. Izpostavlja koristi in izzive pri uporabi tovrstne tehnologije z namenom prilagajanja učnega procesa ter izboljšanja kakovosti izobraževanja. Namen prispevka je preizkusiti in kritično ovrednotiti zmožnost generativne umetne inteligence pri oblikovanju smiselnih, kakovostnih in pedagoško ustreznih matematičnih besedilnih nalog v različnih matematičnih tematskih sklopih. Pri tem izhajamo iz predhodno določenih kriterijev (jasnost in razumljivost, povezava z realnim življenjem, uporaba ustrezne matematične terminologije, ustrezna zahtevnost glede na razvojno stopnjo, pravilno uporabljeni matematični koncepti), ki opredeljujejo kakovostno matematično besedilno nalogo. Študija primera je pokazala, da generativna umetna inteligenca lahko ustvari kakovostne matematične besedilne naloge. Kljub temu njena uporaba zahteva premišljeno integracijo v izobraževalni proces ter ustrezno pedagoško načrtovanje. Ključna predpogoja za učinkovito implementacijo tovrstne tehnologije sta kritično mišljenje učiteljev – ena izmed temeljnih kompetenc vseživljenjskega učenja – ter njihova sposobnost vrednotenja ustvarjenih nalog. Poleg tega je nujno redno strokovno usposabljanje o možnostih, omejitvah in etičnih vidikih uporabe sodobnih tehnologij v vzgojno-izobraževalnem sistemu.

Title:Using Generative Artificial Intelligence to Design Mathematical Text Tasks
Abstract:This paper explores the role of Generative Artificial Intelligence (ChatGPT) in the creation of mathematical text tasks at classroom level. It highlights the benefits and challenges of using this type of technology to adapt the learning process and improve the quality of education. The aim of the paper is to test and critically evaluate the ability of generative artificial intelligence to create meaningful, high quality and pedagogically relevant mathematical text tasks in different mathematical topics. This is based on predefined criteria (clarity and comprehensibility, relevance to real life, use of appropriate mathematical terminology, appropriate complexity according to developmental level, mathematical concepts used correctly) that define a quality mathematical text task. We hypothesise that the results will show that generative AI can produce high quality mathematical text tasks. Nevertheless, its use requires a well-thoughtout integration into the educational process and appropriate pedagogical planning. A key prerequisite for the effective implementation of this type of technology is the critical thinking of teachers – one of the core competences of lifelong learning – and their ability to evaluate the tasks generated. In addition, regular professional training on the possibilities, limitations and ethical aspects of using modern technologies in the educational system is essential.
