A note on a geometric construction of large Cayley graps of given degree and diameter
György Kiss, István Kovács, Klavdija Kutnar, János Ruff, Primož Šparl, 2009, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: An infinite series and some sporadic examples of large Cayley graphs with given degree and diameter are constructed. The graphs arise from arcs, caps and other objects of finite projective spaces.
Ključne besede: degree, diameter problem, Moore bound, finite projective spaces

Experimental verification of an approximate technoque for damage identification in beams using nonlinear regression analysis of bending frequency changes
Elma Ekinovic, Vlatko Doleček, Slavko Dolinšek, Nedim Hodzic, 2010, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: This paper presents the experimental verification of an approximate technique for damage identification in beam-like structures, which is based on the use of bending frequency changes and nonlinear regression analysis. The proposed technique was explained in details in [7] so only few necessary steps are recalled here. The identification of damage location and its depth is performed by use of experimentally measured frequency changes and previously established regression relations between bending frequency changes and damage parameters. The experiments were performed on the intact and damaged beams. The damage in these experiments is made by saw cut as a narrow open notch perpendicular to the beam axis. The results of identification are promising taking into account inevitable modelling and measurement errors.

Adjacency preservers, symmetric matrices, and cores
Marko Orel, 2012, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: It is shown that the graph ▫$\Gamma_n$▫ that has the set of all ▫$n \times n$▫ symmetric matrices over a finite field as the vertex set, with two matrices being adjacent if and only if the rank of their difference equals one, is a core if ▫$n \ge 3$▫. Eigenvalues of the graph ▫$\Gamma_n$▫ are calculated as well.

An aproximate technique for damage identification in beams using nonlinear regression analysis of bending frequency changes
Elma Ekinovic, Vlatko Doleček, Slavko Dolinšek, Nedim Hodzic, 2009, izvirni znanstveni članek

Opis: This paper addresses the problem of damage identification in beam-like structures on the base of bending frequency changes. The identification of damage location and its depth is performed by use of regression relations between changes in natural frequencies and damage parameters. Input data for establishing the regression relations are collected using numerical analysis (FEA) of the beam structure with and without damage. The damage is simulated as a narrow open notch perpendicular to the beam axis. The efficiency and limitations of the proposed technique are assessed through a series of damage scenarios.
Ključne besede: damage identification, finite element analysis, nonlinear regression
