48. Italijanske jezikovne prvine v spontanem govoru v Slovenski IstriJana Volk, 2007, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: The article deals with the presence of Italian linguistic elements in spontaneous speech in Slovene Istria. In this area, the Slovene and Italian languages have been in contact for centuries, influencing each other on various linguistic levels. The article analyses spontaneous speech, which is not standardised; this sometimes made it difficult to establish whether certain analysed cases represented a feature of spontaneous speech or interference of the Italian language. The analysis was conducted on a corpus of spontaneous speech created on the basis of an audio recording of a conversation between a car salesman and a customer. The examples of interference were analysed on the levels of lexicology, morphology and syntax, and classified in the following sections: Noun Gender, Noun Number, Noun Case, Use of the Preposition "od", Linking with Prepositions, Comparison of Adjectives, Numerals, Personal Pronoun Replacing an Object Expressed by a Noun, Pronoun "ki", Use of the Infinitive, Use of the Present Tense for Expressing Future Time, Aspect, Reflexivity of the Verb, Word Order, Simple Sentence, Main Clause, Subordinate Clause, Calques, Lexis and Idioms. Most cases of Italian language interference were found on the level of lexis - they represent almost one half of the cases of interference from the material analysed. There emerges the question whether the results would have been different if the speech had been prepared in advance or if the two speakers knew their conversation was being recorded. It has been proven that the presence of recording devices can hinder spontaneity. If speakers have the time to prepare the text, they produce it more carefully and with more regard to the standards of the literary language, which in this case could have been perhaps reflected in a lower frequency of Italian language interference. Nevertheless, the aim of the present article is to point out some characteristics of the spoken language in an informal speech situation in Slovene Istria, where the language develops in conformity with the rules of the Slovene spoken language and at the same time in intense contact with the Italian language. 49. Romansko-germanska glagolska prepletanja v kraškem in istrskem narečnem prostoruRada Cossutta, 2008, izvirni znanstveni članek Opis: The paper analyses Romance and Germanic verbal elements used in the Karstic and Istrian dialect areas from the points of view of morphology and lexicology. In the field of morphology, the paper sheds light on constant adaptation of Romance and Germanic borrowings to Slovene conjugation patterns, which is evident in particular from the following phenomena: 1) addition of Slovene verbal prefixes and suffixes to Romance-Germanic bases; 2)adoption of Slovene verbal endings or, more precisely, Slovene infinitive endings; 3) changes in aspectč 4) formation of the descriptive and passive participle ending in -n/-t from borrowed verbal bases. In the field of lexicology, the paper reveals the diverse lexical palette of Romance and Germanic borrowings and establishes their meaning and semantic changes. It places special emphasis on calques of Romance origin, which are mostly expressive formations and concrete proof of the interferencial richness of Karstic and Istrian dialect vocabulary Ključne besede: kriški govor, istrskoslovenski govori, glagolske prvine Objavljeno v RUP: 10.07.2015; Ogledov: 2297; Prenosov: 38 Povezava na celotno besedilo |
50. Spolna razlika/spolna enakopravnost v jeziku/kulturiPaula Zupanc Ećimović, 2009, pregledni znanstveni članek Opis: In the article I present a contemporary reflection on the propositions concerning the problems of expressing and representing gender differentiation and gender equality in language/culture and the related practice in spoken language. I find categoriyations of genders in the scope of their mutual relations and in their relationship towards the cultural principals and systems particularly problematic, as they establish the practice of hierarchy of relations between the sexes, which is contrary to the practice of equality, supposedly intended with particular sexual subjects, through their imperatives established upon arbitrary social conventions. The arbitrary relationship towards the categorisation of grammatical gender has been consolidated through the entire development period of monotheistic dogmas during which the patriarchal social system marked by the undisputed rule of the male (gender) has been reinforced. According to arbitrary ideological decisions and principals the male gender had become the universal gender, the unmarked gender, representing a woman (female gender) as well. I emphasiye the questionability of the term neutrality associated with the phenomenon of genders, which - even through the representational form of language - must by no means become non-living categories of neither one or the other . I also stress the term equality, which is being used without reflection, as it contradicts contemporary constitutional principals of equality before the law for each individual on account of the fact that we are all different with respect to our sex, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, ethnicity, age, state of health, etc. I present the contemporary term sexual differences as a basic presumption of differentiation in the sense of a universal phenomenon. The question of representation of different gender subjects arises from the basic presumption of the necessity and the need for expressing difference (différence) as the only means of representing meanings. It is not only a question of difference, but also the question of the Other, the question of polisemic versus Equality/Unity. The balance between the sexes - symmetry ? does not exist, instead there is hierarchy - asymmetry. Upon the realiyation of the consequences of the existing linguistic situation, political and constitutional action has been undertaken within some languages and cultures, for instance the U.K. and U.S English, which has established the equality of expressing female and male gender Ključne besede: jezik, govor, enakost spolov, nevtralnost Objavljeno v RUP: 10.07.2015; Ogledov: 4211; Prenosov: 34 Povezava na celotno besedilo |
